Man Found Guilty of 2011 Shooting

The man accused of fatally shooting a Pleasantville man inside of his home back in 2011, has been found guilty.

21 year-old Jeremiah  Jackson has been convicted of felony murder in regards to the fatal shooting of 51 year-old Ellis Spell on December 9, 2011.The state says that the physical evidence from the day of the murder proves that Jackson was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and a jury agreed. The defense claimed that another man at the home that night was responsible for the shooting. Jackson was also found guilty on burglary, and conspiracy charges, and will be sentenced on August 23rd.
