Stockton poll shows property taxes key issue

A new poll says almost 80 percent of New Jersey residents believe property taxes have gone up over the last three years. The poll was conducted by the Stockton Polling Institute and surveyed 741 likely voters. According to the survey, 39 percent of voters surveyed, said they feel property taxes have increased "a lot' while 40 percent said the taxes have increased "a little." The voters surveyed identified the issues most likely to affect their votes as jobs and property taxes.
