Hundreds of woman who dedicate themselves to public service from across New Jersey gathered Wednesday in Atlantic City for the annual New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs Convention.
Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno was the key note speaker for the three–day convention that brings women from more than 231 chapters together.
The organization dedicates itself to philanthropic projects and prides itself on volunteer work and the millions of dollars they donate each year to those in need.
"These woman in this room are dedicated to helping their neighbors in their communities and that's how we are going to get ourselves out of the mess after sandy," Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno said.
