The city continues to promote the arts with the beginning of another art installation.
Conceptual land artist Peter Hutchinson began one of his thrown rope pieces Monday as part of the "Artlantic" program on Pacific Avenue. Hutchinson throws the rope and then plants flowers or hedges along the lines left behind by the rope. Artlantic is Hutchinson's largest thrown–rope piece to date.
The Atlantic City Alliance and the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority is funding the five year Artlantic program to create public art displays.
