Stockton's first Cape May Facility officially opened it's doors Monday.
The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey opened the Anne Azeez Hall in Woodbine Monday morning. The new 2,800 square foot facility will house two state of the art electronic classrooms and is located at the Sam Azeez Museum of Woodbine Heritage of Stockton.
Among the officials on hand to celebrate Monday's ribbon cutting were members of the Azeez family.
"When this building was crumbling and we didn't have a congregation anymore, we thought 'what are we going to do with this building?' someone said 'let it crumble.' I said you can't let it crumble they made the bricks and built all this, and Michael said 'I'll buy it for a dollar and that was 12 or 14 years ago and never dreamed it would become what it is today," said Anne Azeez.
Anne's son, Michael Azeez created the museum and donated the property to Stockton.
