The team of Republican candidates from the First Legislative District officially kicked off this year's campaign with stops around South Jersey Thursday.
State Senate candidate Susan Adelizzi-Schmidt and Assembly candidates Sam Fiocchi and Kristine Gabor concluded their first day on the campaign trail with dinner and a rally at the North Italy Club in Vineland.
The candidates met with small businesses in Cape May Court House and Vineland earlier Thursday.
Adelizzi-Schmidt says the team hopes to focus on veterans, low-income seniors and job creation.
"Myself along with Cape May County Freeholder Kris Gabor, Cumberland County Freeholder Sam Fiocchi feel very strongly that job creation needs to be the focus in the first legislative district," said Senate candidate Susan Adelizzi-Schmidt.
State Senate Minority Leader Tom Kean Jr. also was in attendance to voice his support for Adelizzi-Schmidt, Fiocchi, and Gabor.
