ATLANTIC CITY -

Rowan University students are hoping to help restore the shore.

Students with the Rowan Television Network were in Atlantic City Friday filming damage from Hurricane Sandy for their sixth yearly telethon.

The telethon benefits a different charity each year and this year funds raised are going towards "Restore the Shore"

Vin D'Anton, co-executive producer on the project says
"about 97% of the people who go to rowan have some sort of shore memory, it is jersey. That's why we set our goal high this year, we're trying to raise $7,500."

This year's telethon airs April 10th.
