ATLANTIC CITY -
Atlantic City's newest casino has a new CEO.
The New Jersey Casino Control Commission approved Jeffrey Hartmann as interim CEO of Revel on Tuesday.
Hartmann,
former president of the Mohegan Sun, replaces Kevin Desanctis who led
revel through its development and tumultuous first year.
Revel expects to file a chapter 11 bankruptcy petition on Friday.
Revel
has been mired near the bottom of Atlantic City's casinos in terms of
the amount of money won from gamblers, though according to the resort,
non-gambling revenues have been doing better.
