CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE -
One man is homeless after a fire ripped through his home Friday night.
Authorities were called to the scene at the Garden Lake Mobile Home Park on the 1400 block of South Route 9 in Cape May Court House for a report of a fire around 7 p.m. When fire officials arrived flames were seen coming from the roof of the home.
The fire was contained to the roof and attic, and did not spread to any neighboring homes. No one was injured in the fire but the home was badly damaged and the lone resident will now be living with neighbors.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated by the Cape May County Fire Marshall.
