NORTH WILDWOOD -
Representatives from FEMA and the State Department of Banking and Insurance spent the day in North Wildwood aiming to help those still suffering from Hurricane Sandy.
The mobile office is geared to assist in dealing with insurance company claims. As of now the State Department of Banking and Insurance is only helping with homeowner claims.
"We are trying to assess the issues that the people are bringing forth to us and we are trying to help them by confronting the insurance companies with the issues they are presenting, and then communicating with the insurance companies to help them work with us to help restore some of the claims," said Alan Hoffman, investigator for the Department of Insurance
Another mobile office help center is scheduled for Friday in Ship Bottom. If you need help in dealing with your insurance company you can contact the Department of Banking Insurance at 609–292–7272.
