An Atlantic City man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison
for selling an illegal assault weapon.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office says 43 year-old David Albright has been sentenced to 30 years in state prison for selling an
AK-47 style assault rifle to a police informant in August of 2011. Albright was convicted earlier this year and must serve at
least 15 years before being eligible for parole.
Albright was sentenced as a persistent offender due to his extensive record including 11
prior convictions.
