Police in Bridgeton are looking for a man they say assaulted a city resident with a knife early Thursday morning.
It happened just after midnight near the corner of Bank Street and Irving Avenue.
That when the 32 year old victim says a black man in all dark clothing came up to him and demanded money.
The victim stated he had no money and that's when police say the suspect lunged at the victim with a small knife.
The victim received a small laceration to his left wrist and he was treated at South Jersey Hospital in Bridgeton.
