ATLANTIC COUNTY -
The lane widening project continues on the Atlantic City Expressway.
The South Jersey Transportation Authority is adding a third lane on the westbound side from milepost 25.5 to milepost 31. The project is intended to alleviate traffic heading from the shore area west.
There will be extra patrols in the construction area. Officials are reminding motorists to drive the posted speed limit of 45 miles per hour.
