BRIGANTINE -
The Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine took in an underweight, scarred seal over night.
Officials at the Stranding Center say the grey seal is old, and about 200 pounds underweight.
He was rescued overnight in Seaside Heights.
The seal had multiple wounds and scars from fights with other seals.
Officials say the seal does have a chance of recovering and gaining enough weight to be released back to sea.
