ABSECON -
The search continues for one of three suspects following an armed robbery and manhunt overnight.
Atlantic City Police say that a convenience store on South Rhode Island Avenue was robbed at gun point by three men last night around 10 PM.
Two of the men were armed with handguns while the third had a shotgun.
The men got away with cash.
The store clerks, who were not injured, gave police the license plate number of the silver Honda Accord that the suspects drove off in.
That vehicle was spotted leaving the city on route 30 and had been reported stolen out of North Jersey.
Police were able to stop the car in the parking lot of the Home Depot and arrest one suspect, Daniel Ramirez, of Elizabeth.
The other two suspects ran into the marshes triggering a manhunt involving Atlantic City, Absecon, Galloway, Pleasantville and State Police.
Another suspect, Elliot Rodriguez, also from Elizabeth, was apprehended with the help of a k–9 team.
The third suspect remains on the loose.
