Atlantic City residents now have a new and improved place to read and meet.
The new Richmond branch of the Atlantic City Free Public Library opened its doors today.
The branch is located in the new Richmond Avenue School and will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays.
The new branch is 3,000 Square Feet and replaced the previous branch that was also part of the old Richmond Avenue School, which was torn down in 2009.
The library expects to be able to offer programs, more computers and an expanded selection resources thanks to the increased size.
