ATLANTIC CITY -
Mark Padula, Atlantic City Municipal Chairperson in
association with the voting members of the Atlantic City County Committee is very
proud to announce that Mr. Donald A. Guardian of Atlantic City will be seeking the
office of Mayor in the General Election this November and currently unopposed in the
June Primary.
Guardian is quoted as saying: "Atlantic City needs a candidate
people can trust, believe in and with a PROVEN track record of REALLY caring for the
city in which they live and work. I especially look forward to representing the
citizens of our fine community and sharing the line with such distinguished elected
officials as Governor Christie and Senate Candidate Frank Balles!"
Mr. Guardian has a proven track record of service to the citizens of Atlantic City
He has dedicated the past 20 plus years of his life to his community as Executive
Director of the now Atlantic City Special Improvement District and through various
board positions with The Boys and Girls Club of America, South Jersey A.I.D.S.
Alliance, The Metropolitan Business Citizens Association, The Gardner's Basin
Foundation, The Rotary Club and the New Jersey Downtown Association.
He has earned a
B.A. Degree from Upsala College in East Orange New Jersey. Donald makes his home in
the inlet section of Atlantic City for 19 years. He is deeply rooted in our
community and equally as committed to citizens of all six wards.
Chairman Padula is quoted as saying, "The refreshing winds of change are coming to
Atlantic City and the entire community will be better for it!"
Supporters, Atlantic City Citizens and Members of the Media are invited to the
formal announcement which will be made on Tuesday, March 5th, 2013 in the Civil
Rights Garden on Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard in Atlantic City at 5:30 p.m.
