MAYS LANDING -

A Lakewood police officer was sentenced to three years probation and ordered to give restitution to a man he assaulted at an Atlantic City Casino.

Kevin Seunath was sentenced in Superior Court Judge Michael Donio's court room in Mays Landing Friday.

Seunath was found guilty of simple assault in the case where prosecutors say he grabbed a man by his throat and beat him inside a bar at Harrah's Casino back in April of 2011.
