Good morning everyone! Be sure to bundle up today...with highs in the mid 30s and very gusty winds today, wind chill factors will be ten to fifteen degrees BELOW the actual air temperature. Last weekend's low pressure system has moved into the Canadian Maritimes, and high pressure will remain in place today. A cold front, however, arrives tomorrow, giving us some rain showers in the afternoon and a substantial warm-up. How does 50 degrees sound for a high temperature tomorrow? Behind that cold front is more cold air that will give us a two day stretch similar to what we are seeing today: Highs in the upper 30s with gusty winds both Wednesday and Thursday. Another low arrives on Friday, and it will give us equal chances for snow and rain, though snow is more likely in the morning this time around. Highs will top out in the low 40s. The weekend, however, finally gives us some normalcy. Mainly sunny both days, and highs will be right around our seasonal average...which, for those keeping score, is in the mid to upper 40s.
Have a great day!
