BRIDGETON -- Two men have been charged in months-old shooting cases.
Twenty-one-year-old Ahmad Smith is charged with shooting a juvenile in an alleyway behind a deli on January 21. Police arrested Smith on Tuesday and charged him with attempted murder and weapons offenses.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, though they believe Smith and the victim were the only ones at the scene and two different weapons were used.
Da'Shon Harris has also been charged with the shooting of two people on October 6 which left one of the victims paralyzed.
Harris was already incarcerated in the New Jersey State Prison System on a parole violation he was charged with when he was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and weapons offenses.
