MAYS LANDING -
Two Atlantic City brothers appeared in court Tuesday for the first
time on murder charges.
Malik Derry, 21, and his brother 32 year–old Mykal Derry were arrested around 1:30 Monday afternoon at the Motor Vehicles Facility at the Shore Mall in Egg Harbor Township.
The two are facing murder charges in the shooting death of
25 year–old Tyquinn James of Atlantic City. James was found fatally shot outside of an Atlantic City
restaurant on the 1300 block of Adriatic Avenue Sunday night.
Both men have been charged with murder, conspiracy to commit
murder and weapons offenses.
Bail was originally set for each man at $1 million dollars. A bail hearing is expected soon.
