MILLVILLE -
Two families are displaced Monday night after a fire at a duplex in Millville.
Firefighters were called to the scene on the 300 block of Oak Street around 6:15 Monday night for a report of a fire. Heavy fire was seen coming from the second floor of the building upon arrival. Fire officials say the blaze was under control in a half hour.
All residents were able to make it out of the building safely, however occupants of both sides of the duplex are being sheltered by the Red Cross because of damages caused by the fire.
The cause is still being investigated, but fire officials say it does not appear to be suspicious.
