ATLANTIC CITY -
The deadline to apply for Federal Emergency Management Agency funds to elevate homes has been extended.
Atlantic City officials will be accepting applications from home owners until Friday, February 22.
An application for FEMA Mitigation Funds is also being processed which will include projects such as raising flood prone access roads and acquiring emergency generators.
Though city officials are looking forward to these funds, there is no guarantee that the city will receive funding.
