A local sheriff will officially announce his decision on whether or not he will seek a different office.
Atlantic County Sheriff Frank Balles is expected to announce on Monday that he will run for the 2nd district Senate seat. Balles, a Republican, would challenge current senator, Democrat Jim Whelan.
