SOMERS POINT -
Prices at the pump have jumped 15 cents per gallon in just the past week.
According to a recent Gas Buddy survey of more than 3,500 gas outlets in the Garden State, the average price Monday was $3.49 per gallon. That's 8.7 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and almost 17 cents higher than a month ago.
Meanwhile, the national average lists an increase of 14.4 cents a gallon last week.
Gas Buddy says the increase, in part, is due to rising oil prices.
