UPPER DEERFIELD TWP. -
A late night fire has ravaged a home in Cumberland County.
It happened just before 9:00 p.m. Monday on the 300 block of Durham Road in Upper Deerfield Township.
Fire officials on the scene say the fire started in a bedroom on the first floor and spread to other parts of the home.
One woman was taken to a local hospital for unknown injuries.
Fire officials also say that a dog was killed in the fire.
The home suffered severe damage, and has been deemed unsafe.
The cause of the blaze is still unknown at this time, and the incident remains under investigation.
