NEW JERSEY -
State authorities are encouraging football fans everywhere
to use caution when partying for the big game this weekend.
Authorities say the amount of drinking during Super Bowl weekend is
comparable to New Year's Eve and remind anyone who may be drinking this weekend
to use a designated driver or take public transportation to and from their
destinations. State Police will ramp up patrols on the roads to crack down
on intoxicated driving.
Drivers are also warned to be aware of pedestrian traffic
this weekend, as people will be walking to and from bars and parties.
