Friday marks the tenth anniversary of the American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women Campaign."
In Atlantic City the Tropicana promoted the campaign with a day of events.
The day of fun and free events included health screenings on the casino floor and a Zumba class.
Those wearing red Friday will receive discounts at several of the shops.
The special events were put together with hopes of increasing awareness.
Steve Callender, the General Manager at the Tropicana said "we want our employees and our guests to be healthy and we're giving them an opportunity to stop by and keep them healthy and keep them strong."
Heart healthy menus are also being featured in the Tropicana's restaurants.
And a "red hot" fashion show will be held Friday night with live music.
