Federal worker honored at retirement celebration - NBC40.net
GALLOWAY TWP. -- A job well done was rewarded Saturday, when Sandra Hamer-Jensen was honored after 38 years of federal service.
Hamer-Jensen was area specialist, and over the years helped hundreds of families obtain housing loans in Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland Counties.
She was happy to see the turnout at Saturday's event in her honor.
"I just feel great," says Hamer-Jensen. "It's been 38 years with USDA and it was 38 really good years. It's nice to be able to retire."
Hamer-Jensen says in her retirement she plans on doing a lot of volunteer work.
