The deadline is looming for those who suffered after Hurricane Sandy to register for disaster assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
January 30th at midnight is the deadline and is also the deadline to return applications for low-interest disaster loans from the Small Business Administration.

People who have sustained a loss due to Hurricane Sandy are encouraged to register even if they have insurance.
FEMA assistance may include grants for temporary housing, essential home repairs, personal property losses and other disaster-related needs not covered by insurance.
