Police say a North Jersey man died following a crash at a Garden State Parkway rest stop.
Police responded to the scene of a serious accident at the Atlantic City Service Area on the Garden State Parkway around 10 o'clock Friday night. Authorities say a red Volkswagen Jetta hit a parked front-end loader. The driver of the Jetta, 62 year-old Joseph Cohen of Howell, had to be removed from the car by firefighters. Police say Cohen was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center where he later died.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
