ATLANTIC CITY -
Atlantic City police are investigating a shooting that left two people injured Friday night.
Police received multiple calls about multiple shots being fired on the 500 block of North Kentucky Avenue around 9 Friday night. Police say they found one victim on that block, and another victim on the 900 block of North Kentucky. One of the victims was grazed in the back, the other was rushed into surgery for wounds to the hip. Both are expected to survive, according to police.
Witnesses told police they saw a maroon colored car flee the scene with two people inside. An unoccupied vehicle matching that description was found a short time later and is now part of the ongoing investigation.
Anyone with information should contact Atlantic City Police.
