A student run fundraising group, Chapters for Charity, will hold its second annual book sale Saturday morning beginning at 10. There will also be a special pre–sale at 9.
The proceeds from the sale will go towards the Alcove Center for grieving children and families.
Last year's event raised over $1,700 for the charity, something organizers say they are proud to be responsible for.
"It feels incredible to be in charge of an event this size, especially because it came from just an idea that me and my mother had back in our living room, and it's amazing to see it all come together and we're really proud of it," said Egg Harbor Township High School student Caroline Tesone, an organizer of the fundraiser.
Volunteers spent hours Friday night setting up 5,00 books of all different genre's ahead of Saturday's sale.
