GALLOWAY TWP. -
A car ended up in a stream Thursday morning in Galloway Township
after the driver lost control and hit a telephone pole.
It happened just after 9 o'clock on Moss Mill Road. Police say the driver of a 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo side
swiped a guardrail and then lost control of the vehicle. The car then crossed the roadway, went over another
guardrail, hit a utility pole, and ended up partially submerged in a stream
along the road.
The driver suffered injuries to her head and face. A 4 year–old child in the backseat was uninjured.
The road was closed for 5 hours while the pole was repaired
and the car was removed from the stream. The accident is still being investigated.
