HAMILTON TWP. -

Arson and criminal mischief charges have been filed against three teens accused of setting three small fires in a southern New Jersey community.

No injuries were reported in the fires, which all occurred Saturday in Hamilton Township and only caused minor damage.

The first fire was reported around 11:20 a.m. At the athletic fields at Underhill Park, responding police officers found two trash cans had been set on fire close to the field house. Two more fires were discovered a short time later at a former middle school. It appeared that a trash can full of leaves had been set on fire on the school steps, while another fire was set in a large trash bin.

The three juveniles, two 14-year-olds and a 16-year-old, were later arrested at Underhill Park.
