CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE -
An increase in the number of flu cases across the country and here in south Jersey has prompted Cape May County is holding free flu shot clinics every Friday.
The Cape May County Health Department will host the clinics at the its building on Moore Road in Cape May Court House from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday's clinic was the first of the year, and will continue to run while supplies last.
The state Department of Health says flu season has arrived sooner than normal in New Jersey, and already two children, a 14 year-old and an 8 month-old have died from the flu. Both victims had underlying medical conditions that contributed to their deaths.
