MILLVILLE -

See it.  Feel it.  Drive it.  That's the slogan of the New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville and this Saturday, driving fans will be able to get on the track and take some laps, just like the pros.

"This is a new program that we started in 2012.  We have never had an event like this in January during the middle of the winter, so this is a unique opportunity," said NJMP General Manager Brad Scott.

New Jersey Motorsports Park officials say the 2 and a quarter mile track will be open to the public for $50 and will allow fans to follow a ‘pace car' around the course.

Scott added, "You can bring any race car, sports car, anything outside of a Corvette or an SUV."

"The event on Saturday is really meant for the public to come out and kind of see the track from the other side of the fence," explained Chris Banker, Manager of Communications for NJMP.

In the past, New Jersey Motorsports Park has hosted similar events that brought out around 50 to 70 cars.  But park management says the event on Saturday should be one of the largest ever.

"We're anticipating having over 100 cars come out in January."

Officials say an event like this one is something you won't want to miss.
