ATLANTIC CITY - Mayor Lorenzo Langford delivered his unofficial state of the city address, his first public address of 2013.

In his remarks during the Metropolitan Business and Citizens Associations' winter luncheon, Mayor Langford said that 2013 will be a great year for Atlantic City.

Touching on special events such as the Atlantic City Rodeo, Seafood Festival and a new film festival aiming to make Atlantic City a hub for productions in New Jersey.

When talking about Hurricane Sandy, Langford took aim at Governor Christie, making special emphasis about how he encouraged city residents to evacuate during the storm.

Langford also took time to thank Dennis Gomes, who died last year, for his services to Atlantic City, as well as Don Marrandino, who recently stepped down as the head of Caesars Entertainment's Eastern Division.

Mayor Langford will make his official state of the city address next Wednesday.
