ATLANTIC CITY -
A boardwalk front property in Atlantic City looks to be off the market soon.
According to an article in the Wall Street Journal, Pinnacle Entertainment has a deal for the 19 acres of Atlantic City land it bought for $270 million dollars in 2006. The article states that the actual purchase price is unknown, but sources indicate it's close to $35 million dollars.
The lot, which is currently the location of a public art works project, is where the Sands Casino Hotel once stood before Pinnacle tore it down in 2007 in order to build a new casino, but plans fell apart.
Though Pinnacle wouldn't comment on the pending sale, executives said that the company expected to complete a deal early in the first quarter during a conference call last month.
