Police say it appears the same woman, armed with a gun, has robbed a local pharmacy of prescription drugs for the second time in two weeks.
At 8:45 Tuesday night, police say a 30-40 year old woman with a stocking over her face, entered the Smithville CVS and approached the pharmacy counter with a plastic bag and a gun, demanding Oxys and Roxys. Police say the woman, who's white, with a thin build, appears to be the same woman responsible for an armed robbery of the same CVS on December 29th, which resulted in the theft of 300 prescription Percocept.
In the latest robbery, police say the woman made off with approximately 300 prescription Oxycodone pills. Surveillance footage apparently shows she left on foot towards the Smithville Historic Shops.
Anyone with information about either incident is asked to contact the Galloway Police Department at (609) 652-3705.
