MAYS LANDING -
An Atlantic County murder suspect made his first appearance in court Tuesday.
36 year old Gregory Gibbs arrived in court in Mays Landing for a first appearance.
Gibbs is accused of killing 33–year–old Chikki Smith of Atlantic City who was shot to death near the parking lot of Sam's Rialto Bar and Grill in Pleasantville on December 3rd.
Bail for Gibbs is set at one million dollars.
Gibbs will return to court after he hires a lawyer.
At least a dozen sheriff's deputies were on hand in court today.
