BRIDGETON -
The Bridgeton Police Department is crediting the quick response from some of it's officers for solving a daytime burglary.
Officers arrived at the Highland Avenue home Wednesday morning after the homeowners reported more than $3,000 worth of items stolen. Shortly after, Sergeant Angel Santiago spotted 25 year-old Hasaan Clark heading into a bank with a change jar matching the description of one stolen from Highland Avenue. Later in the day, 42 year old Kirone Davenport Senior was also found in possession of stolen items and was arrested downtown.
Both have been charged with possession of stolen property and Clark is also facing drug charges. Additional charges are pending.
