CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE -
The man police say killed two teens while driving drunk
plead not guilty Thursday.
30 year-old Joshua Malmgren, of Villas, entered his not
guilty plea at his arraignment Thursday. Malmgren is accused of killing 15 year-old Naomi Lazicki and
13 year-old Ashley Dauber as the cousins were walking home from a playground
along Bayshore road on July 31st.
Police say Malmgren was driving drunk at the time of the
accident. He is being held on $400,000 bail and faces
multiple charges including two counts of first degree aggravated manslaughter.
Malmgren is due back in court on February 14th.
