SOMERS POINT -
Of all the new things that come along with the new year, perhaps one of the most special is the first baby of the new year.
Shore Medical Center welcomed its first baby of 2013, at 1:30 Tuesday morning. Bill and Megan Ponzio came to the hospital at 9:45 p.m. Monday, and a few short hours later, Megan gave birth to Finn William Ponzio. The child's father called childbirth, "one of the few surprises left in life."
Finn is Bill and Megan's first son, and second child overall.
