In Middle Township police say a couple of teenagers are responsible
for the assault of a Rio Grande
man.
Police say it happened on Linden Lane in Rio Grande on Saturday evening where they
found a 44 year old man with stab wounds to his torso.
The victim told police that he had become involved in a
verbal altercation with several teenagers who were inside an abandoned house
That's when a 16 year old punched him in the face and then
police say a 17 year old stabbed him.
Police identified and located both teens.
The 17 year old has been charged with Aggravated Assault and
Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.
The victim was taken to Atlanticare for his injuries.
