CAPE MAY -
The winter storm caused the Cape May County Zoo to be closed to the public Thursday.
The high winds caused hazardous conditions for anyone walking through the zoo grounds. Zoo officials say one tree fell and damaged a fence in the Savannah area.
No animals were injured and crews repaired the fence. The zoo is expected to open Friday.
