NEW JERSEY -
Authorities are reminding drivers to be extra careful on the
roads this Christmas, and to always use a designated driver.
The statewide campaign "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" runs through January second. Local and state law enforcement officials will conduct extra
patrols and sobriety checkpoints looking for motorists who may be driving while
intoxicated.
Organizers of the campaign hope to raise awareness about the
dangers of drinking and driving through the high–visibility enforcement.
