The save the Jersey Shore Children's Museum campaign is underway.
With part of the Shore Mall set to close next week, the Jersey Shore Children's Museum is calling on the community for assistance.
The museum seeking donations from the public to help relocate the museum to what officials hope is a bigger and better location.
Museum officials say the children's museum provides a safe, indoor environment for hands-on learning and hope the public will recognize the museum's value.
"We relied on the community to come and help us and those members and folks that have visited have seen exactly what that is, so we are turning again to the community hoping they still believe in a place for this museum," said museum director Sue Gunter.
Museum officials are collecting donations of any value to help save the museum.
