CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE -
The long road for the removal of traffic lights on the Garden State Parkway is coming to an end.
A contract for the project has been given the green light by
the New Jersey Turnpike Authority.
There's still ten days before the contract becomes official,
once it does work should begin in a couple of weeks. The project is expected to take about two years to complete and
will cost $71.7 million dollars, that's $30 million below the
state's estimate.
