EGG HARBOR TWP. -

Two more area hotels have been accused of price gouging in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

In a lawsuit, the state says the Econo Lodge run by Amy Hotels in Egg Harbor Township increased room rates by 150 percent during the state of emergency.

The Howard Johnson Inn in Pleasantville, run by Infant King Management, is also named in the suit.  The state says they increased the room rates by 58 percent during the state of emergency.

This is the third price gouging lawsuit filed by the state. Last month, the A–1 Motel in Galloway was accused of price gouging.
